Time 3:45 to 6:00 pm
Full Season September to March. Junior curling for kids aged 10 to 19. Wednesdays from 3:45pm to 6:00pm. 15 minute off-ice warm-up, a lesson on the finer points of the game and instructional drills are provided by a certified coach prior to a game at 5 pm. Juniors are encouraged to participate in bonspiels and interclub leagues once they have mastered the basics.
REFUNDS: All refunds will have a $30 fee. Refunds made before the start of league play will refund the league fee minus the $30 fee (for each league refunded). Refunds requested once the league has started will forfeit 50% of the league fee until October 1, 2026. After October 1, there will be no refunds.
In addition to the Wednesday junior program (Youth Curling and Little Rockers) there is an Optimist Junior Interclub Curling League (OJICL). There are currently two divisions in this league. Division 2 games happen most Sundays from October 25th through March 14th, and are primarily at Cloverdale, although some games will be played at other clubs (for example, Delta and Langley). Division 1 is competitive. Division 1 plays doubles headers, on Sundays, with 8 game days between September 13th and March 14th. To play in this league youth must participate in a junior curling program. If you are interested in curling in either Division 1 or 2, please answer yes to the registration question in the next steps that asks if you are interested. Saying you're interested does not commit you to playing on a team. We will confirm your interest before forming teams. There is an additional cost to play in this league to cover the ice rental costs, etc. Fees for the OJICL are paid to OJICL, not Cloverdale Curling Club.
